William and Kate Embrace New Beginnings at Windsor Castle

and have officially settled into their new home within the grounds of Windsor Castle, marking a fresh chapter for the royal family.

This move comes just in time for the school year, as their children prepare to embark on new educational adventures.

Leaving behind their residence at Kensington Palace in London, the couple is prioritizing their children's well-being and desire for a more typical upbringing.

Their three young royals—Prince George, , and —will be attending Lamerick School, located near Ascot in Berkshire.

The prestigious institution comes with a hefty price tag, amounting to approximately £50,000 annually.

However, for William and Kate, the investment in their children's education seems worthwhile.

Kate was recently spotted driving near their new home, Adelaide Cottage, which is a charming four-bedroom property that carries historical significance as a Grade II listed building.

The Queen has graciously allowed the couple to lease this lovely abode from the Crown Estate, further solidifying their connection to the royal legacy.

A royal insider shed light on this significant decision, emphasizing that it stems from the couple's desire to provide their children with a sense of normalcy.

Living in Kensington Palace often felt like being under a microscope, and William and Kate are eager to offer George, Charlotte, and Louis a bit more freedom than they could enjoy in central London.

While they have vacated their lavish apartment 1A at Kensington Palace—an upgrade that cost taxpayers £4.5 million in 2013—they will retain it as a working space for palace staff.

Additionally, their 10-bedroom residence in Norfolk, Anmer Hall, remains in their possession, complete with luxurious amenities like a swimming pool and tennis court.

This transition to Adelaide Cottage also means changes for their household staff.

For the first time, their nanny, Maria Theresa Turrian Borallo, along with other staff members such as the housekeeper and chef, will reside elsewhere.

This shift indicates a new lifestyle for the family, one that balances royal duties with their commitment to family life.
