The Duchess of Cambridge’s Children Share Interest in Aircraft with Dad Prince William
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, resumed her royal duties on Wednesday with a visit to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The personnel at the base played a crucial role in evacuating thousands of people from Afghanistan in recent weeks.
During her visit, Kate shared insights about her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, revealing their shared interest in aircraft, much like their father, Prince William.
After touring a RAF C-17 Globemaster plane, Lord Master Sergeant Mark Curtis disclosed to People magazine that Kate mentioned her children's keen interest in aircraft.
This connection comes as no surprise, considering Prince William's past experience as an RAF search and rescue pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance from 2015 to 2017, a period when George and Charlotte were younger.
Eight-year-old George has previously showcased his fascination with airplanes, attending the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in 2016 at the tender age of two.
Additionally, during the Cambridge family's visit to Germany and Poland in 2017, the young prince appeared delighted while exploring a helicopter in Hamburg.
In 2016, Kate Middleton shared that George's passion for planes was evident during an event commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Air Training Corps.
She mentioned that George was captivated by aircraft and expressed a desire to become an air cadet in the future.
