Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has suggested that the Duchess of Cambridge is stepping into the shoes of Princess Diana, showcasing confidence through her daring fashion selections.

Kate has been gracing public appearances alongside Prince William in exquisite dresses and sophisticated ensembles that befit her royal status.

Larcombe highlighted that Kate's recent outings reflect a sense of maturity akin to that of Princess Diana, as he shared his observations with OK!

magazine.

Reflecting on Kate's evolution in style, Larcombe remarked, “When I saw the photos, I was reminded that Kate has very much become the new Diana when it comes to the style stakes.”

Notably, Kate recently presented the Queen Elizabeth II award for British design to designer Saul Nash in London, clad in a striking green Neddeline Lee dress that garnered widespread admiration from royal enthusiasts.

Larcombe emphasized how Kate's fashion choices over the past year underscore her growing confidence and elegance.

He noted, “After the pandemic, combined with the behavior of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, we've really seen Kate up her game.”

Shifting focus to Meghan Markle, despite her departure from the royal family, she paid a subtle tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by carrying a Lady Dior purse to the Global Citizen Live event in New York City in September 2021.

The Lady Dior purse holds historical significance, as it was originally presented to Diana in 1995 by the First Lady of France and later renamed in her honor.
