The 13-carat emerald-cut aquamarine ring, once worn by as a replacement for her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring post her divorce from Prince Charles in 1996, has resurfaced in the spotlight.

Valued at $90,000, the aquamarine ring was previously adorned by Diana alongside a matching aquamarine and pearl bracelet.

Fast forward more than two decades later, the same ring made its appearance on , now Duchess of Sussex.

Markle flaunted the emerald-cut ring on her right hand during their wedding reception in Windsor back in May 2018.

The clean, geometric lines of the ring complemented her sleek reception dress and modern Cartier earrings exquisitely.

Despite being a personal item and not part of the royal family collection, chose to wear the aquamarine ring, sending a powerful message.

While the ring is not a state wedding gift for her, thereby restricting her from taking it out of the UK by law, it currently belongs to the Spencer family.

These personal jewels will be inherited by Diana's sisters and nieces.

The investigation results revealed that the annual royal gift list did not include any mention of the Sussex wedding.

Although the list detailed the jewelry received by Meghan from various official trips to countries like Ireland, New Zealand, and Fiji, it conspicuously omitted the Sussex wedding gifts.

Diana's collection of aquamarines, including the stunning emerald-cut aquamarine cocktail ring with diamond accents on the band, showcased her impeccable taste in jewelry.

Gifted by Lucia Fletcher de Lima and crafted by Asprey, this ring joined Diana's jewelry box around 1996.

Meghan Markle made headlines when she first wore 's aquamarine ring on her wedding day in 2018, waving to photographers as she and Harry drove to their evening wedding reception in a vintage Jaguar convertible.

Subsequently, Meghan sported the ring during a royal tour of Tonga, donning it for a private audience with King Tupa VI and Queen Nanasbo.

Later in October 2018, the Duchess of Sussex wore the ring again for an official dinner in Tonga.

Recently, Meghan Markle and graced the stage at the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Gala at the New York Hilton.

During the event, Meghan once again adorned the iconic aquamarine ring, pairing it elegantly with a white dress.

Her choice of earrings for the occasion came from Carolina Herrera, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble.
