Samantha Markle is once again stirring the pot, this time dragging her sister Meghan Markle into a legal battle sparked by comments made in the Netflix documentary “Harry and Meghan.”

In a recent court filing, Samantha claims that the documentary not only defamed her but also shattered her life, forcing her to relocate and step away from the public eye.

Her lawyer has stated that the fallout has been so severe that Samantha has received credible death threats from people who seem to have too much time on their hands.

This isn't Samantha's first attempt at a defamation case; she previously lost a similar battle but isn't giving up just yet.

Like a character in a never-ending soap opera, she's appealing that decision in the Eleventh Circuit Court.

The initial case revolved around Meghan's high-profile interview with Oprah Winfrey and sensational claims from the book “Finding Freedom” by Omid Scobie and Caroline Durand.

After facing multiple hurdles, Samantha has now shifted her focus to the Netflix series.

The drama kicked off with a five-minute segment in which Meghan insinuated that Samantha was involved in a disinformation campaign against her.

Meghan dramatically claimed, “You're making people want to kill me,” a statement that clearly struck a nerve with Samantha.

The documentary didn't stop there; it included Christopher Bowsie, founder of Bot Sentinel, who alleged that Meghan's online critics were not just random trolls but rather housewives and middle-aged white women with a grudge.

Bowsie specifically named Samantha, accusing her of spreading disinformation, while Meghan reiterated her claims of being targeted.

Samantha's legal team sees this as a direct assault on her character.

They argue that Meghan's remarks went beyond mere frustration over online negativity.

According to them, Meghan suggested that Samantha was orchestrating a personal attack against her.

Samantha's attorney, Peter Tickton, insists that his client is innocent and has never participated in any group that spread misinformation or harassed Meghan.

He portrays her as the misunderstood sister simply trying to live her life.

Tickton further claims that Meghan's statements have forced Samantha into hiding.

She has had to move, avoid public places, and even quit her job as a social worker due to fears of potential backlash from Meghan's fanbase, known as the Sussex Squad.

The anxiety has taken a toll on her daily existence, pushing her deeper into isolation.

In response, Meghan's legal team has swiftly invoked the First Amendment, arguing that her comments were merely opinions and lacked actual malice.

However, Tickton is not convinced.

He argues that Meghan had access to extensive Twitter analytics through her collaboration with Bowsie, who analyzed countless tweets to pinpoint her critics.

Yet, he points out, none of the troll accounts could be traced back to Samantha.

The lawsuit boldly states that Samantha was never part of any racist or hate-filled campaign against Meghan.

If Meghan believes otherwise, Tickton asserts, it will be up to the courts to sift through the evidence.
