Royal Visit to Boston: Princess Catherine and Prince William Discuss Climate Change
Princess Catherine, wrapped in a stylish long brown Alexander McQueen peacoat, accompanied by her husband, Prince William, made a visit to Piers Park in Boston, Massachusetts on a chilly Thursday afternoon as temperatures dipped below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Princess of Wales exuded warmth in her designer ensemble, complemented by a matching scarf, gloves, and elegant high-heeled brown boots.
Although her coat appeared to be custom-made, a similar piece from the brand is currently available online for a steep price of $5,960.
Battling the cold weather, the mother-of-three kept her coat fastened up while offering a glimpse of her outfit underneath – a vibrant orange $790 Gabriela Harris turtleneck shirt paired with a matching $1,590 skirt.
Prince William, sporting blue trousers, a button-down shirt, a blue coat, and scarf, joined his wife in high spirits as they engaged in discussions at the park concerning climate change and the escalating sea levels.
Princess Catherine styled half of her luscious brown locks in a neat bun and adorned herself with embellished Daniela Draper gold hoop earrings.
Earlier in the day, the royal couple was sighted arriving at the climate innovation company, Greentown Labs in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Princess Catherine sported a chic Roland Maurit burgundy pantsuit with a pink tie-neck blouse beneath, while Prince William coordinated in a burgundy sweater paired with a dark grey suit.
Her choice of footwear for the occasion was a pair of $675 JonVito Rossi suede pumps, and she carried an opulent Chanel maroon and gold enamel purse during the visit.
The couple radiated ease and grace during their visit to Greentown Labs, where they were warmly received by numerous fans, including a young boy dressed as one of the Kings guards.
Upon their arrival in America the previous day, William and Catherine attended the Earthshot launch before heading to a Boston Celtics game, where they sat courtside amidst 20,000 fans, passionately cheering on the players as they faced off against the Miami Heat.
Prince William's agenda for the week includes a visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, with plans in place for the royal couple to meet President Joe Biden on Friday during his separate trip to Boston.
