During her visit, Princess Kate came across a birthday card sent by the late Eye to Nora on her 100th birthday, revealing that they both celebrate their birthdays in January.

Expressing her delight, Kate remarked, “You turn a year older on January 7th, just two days before mine – we're both Capricorns.”

This personal connection added a special touch to the visit, showcasing the Princess's warmth and genuine interest in the lives of the residents.

As she toured the family-run nursing home, Princess Kate delved into the innovative ways the staff utilize cutting-edge technology to enrich the daily experiences of the residents.

Engaging in activities such as interactive football with resident Jean and exploring the interactive sensory table, Kate witnessed firsthand the positive impact these initiatives have on the elderly individuals' well-being.
