Royal Snub: William and Kate Skip Brooklyn Beckham’s Lavish Wedding

In a surprising turn of events, and have reportedly declined an invitation to Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's extravagant wedding.

The couple received a personal invitation from David and Victoria Beckham, who are Brooklyn's parents, for the lavish affair held in Palm Beach, Florida, which is said to have cost a staggering $3.5 million.

According to sources close to the Beckham family, the royal couple was invited to join in the festivities, but they ultimately decided not to attend.

It seems that William sent a gracious reply, expressing his best wishes for the couple's happiness while explaining their absence.

This polite decline comes after the Beckhams attended William and Kate's own wedding back in 2011.

Interestingly, David and Victoria were also present at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in 2018, leading many to speculate whether and might have been invited to Brooklyn's nuptials as well.

However, insiders have dismissed these rumors, emphasizing that David Beckham's long-standing connection with the Cambridges made them the primary choice for the guest list.

A source shared with the Daily Mirror that David has a strong bond with William and Kate, which significantly influenced their decision-making.

The source noted that this relationship has deep roots, making the Cambridges the obvious choice for attendance.

It was clear that the focus was on them, rather than on any ties to Harry and Meghan.

The wedding itself took place in a stunning setting, featuring three enormous tented structures on the oceanfront lawn of Father Nelson's impressive $103 million estate in Palm Beach.

With around 300 guests in attendance, the atmosphere was nothing short of celebratory.

As the evening progressed, guests were treated to a lively reception that featured a memorable first dance.

Brooklyn and Nicola took to the dance floor at precisely 8:10 PM, dancing to a live rendition of “Only Fools Rush In,” a classic made famous by Elvis Presley.

The couple was met with enthusiastic cheers from their friends and family as they shared this special moment.

Following their first dance, the celebration continued with another beloved classic, Ben E. King's “Stand By Me.”
