Royal School Days: Princess Charlotte Faces Gymnastics Dilemma

As summer winds down, children across the UK, including the young royals, are gearing up for another school year.

, the seven-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is no exception.

However, it seems that her excitement may be tinged with a bit of disappointment come September.

The royal siblings are set to enroll at Lambric School in Bracknell, which boasts an impressive range of facilities, but there's one glaring omission that could leave Charlotte feeling a bit let down.

Charlotte's love for gymnastics became evident during her recent appearance at the Commonwealth Games in August.

While soaking up the atmosphere, she expressed her enthusiasm for the sport, catching the attention of Tim Lawler, the chief executive of Sports Aid.

He shared that Charlotte was particularly captivated by the gymnastics events, and her passion for the discipline was unmistakable.

It turns out that when asked about her favorite sport, she didn't hesitate to declare her love for gymnastics.

Unfortunately for the young royal, Lambric School does not offer gymnastics as part of its curriculum.

This absence might be disappointing for Charlotte, who has shown such enthusiasm for the sport.

Nevertheless, the school does provide a variety of other activities that the Cambridge children can explore, ensuring they won't be short on options.

One highlight for both Charlotte and her father, , is that football is compulsory for female students at the school.
