Royal Rift: King Charles Displeased with Siblings’ Support for Prince Andrew

Tensions are simmering within the royal family as expresses his discontent over and 's recent show of support for their brother, .

The atmosphere turned chilly after Andrew was spotted attending a shooting party at the Windsor estate last Saturday, an event from which the new king has deliberately tried to distance himself.

The gathering took place just two days before 's 74th birthday, and while it was likely meant to be a supportive gesture towards Andrew, it has instead sparked a rift among the royals.

Sources indicate that the king was not only absent from the event but also displeased with the presence of his siblings alongside Andrew.

According to insiders, King Charles feels strongly that Andrew should remain out of the public eye due to the controversies surrounding him.

While Anne and Edward attended the shoot out of concern for their brother, it appears their actions have not sat well with the king.

He reportedly wanted it made clear that he had no part in the shooting party and was unhappy about the optics of the situation.

Despite the tensions, it seems that King Charles is willing to maintain some level of family connection, as Andrew is expected to join the family at Sandringham for Christmas.

However, he will notably be excluded from the royal family's traditional walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day, further illustrating the strain in their relationships.

Interestingly, it's not just Andrew causing friction within the family.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, who have been diligent in supporting both the late Queen and King Charles, also seem to be on the outskirts of the king's inner circle.

This dynamic adds another layer of complexity to the royal family's relationships.

, despite his commitment to royal duties, has yet to receive the Duke of Edinburgh title that many believed would come to him following his father's passing a year and a half ago.

Once seen as a certainty, the title is now shrouded in uncertainty, with no clear indication of when or if it will be bestowed upon him.

As the royal family navigates these choppy waters, it's clear that the dynamics have shifted significantly.
