In 2008, the couple briefly parted ways, a decision that reportedly disappointed the late Queen Elizabeth II.

However, their separation was short-lived, as Prince William and Kate Middleton were soon seen sharing a kiss at an army party at Barracks in Bovington, Dorset.

Additionally, Kate's extended family, including her younger brother James Middleton, attended the concert for Diana at Wembley, commemorating the 10th anniversary of her passing.
