Royal Glamour: King and Queen Shine at South Korean State Banquet

The King and Queen of England made a dazzling entrance at the South Korean State Banquet on a glamorous evening, where the monarch paid tribute to K-pop culture in his address.

Accompanied by esteemed guests including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Princess Royal, they welcomed South Korean President Yun Suk-hyol and his wife Kim Kyung-hee to a lavish white-tie dinner.

The event featured a rare display of tiaras worn by the Royal Ladies, showcasing a stunning array of jewels from the royal vaults.

Queen graced the occasion in the magnificent Burmese ruby tiara, once belonging to the late II, paired elegantly with a red velvet Fiona Clare gown.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales, Catherine, made a striking appearance in the historic Strathmore rose tiara, a piece of royal jewelry unseen publicly since the 1930s.

Adorned in a white Jenny Packham gown, she also wore earrings that belonged to the late Queen Mother, adding a touch of regal splendor to her ensemble.

The exquisite floral headpiece worn by the Princess was a cherished wedding gift to the then Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, later known as the Queen Mother, from her father, the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne in 1923.

Paired with a gown embellished with gold floral detailing by Jenny Packham, Catherine exuded grace and sophistication, a true vision of royal elegance.

Known for her impeccable fashion choices, she has previously dazzled in designer ensembles at prestigious events, including a glittering gold sequin gown at the James Bond premiere in 2021.

The focal point of the evening undoubtedly remained the breathtaking tiaras worn by the Royal Ladies, accentuating their beauty and poise.

With her brunette locks styled in a chic half-updo, Catherine showcased the late II's diamond pendant earrings with grace.

Her makeup, featuring a smoky eye, blush, and a pink lip, enhanced her natural radiance, adding to her royal allure.

Alongside his stunning wife, looked dashing in a classic black suit, embodying timeless sophistication.

Earlier in the day, the Prince and Princess of Wales had the privilege of welcoming the President and First Lady at their hotel before partaking in a grand royal welcome at the Horse Guards Parade, characterized by pomp and ceremony.

and Queen are hosting President Yun Suk-hyol and his wife, Kim Kyung-hee, for a prestigious three-day state visit, marking a significant milestone in ' reign since his coronation in May.

The evening's festivities continued with a grand banquet in the opulent Palace Ballroom, attended by 170 distinguished guests.

Both the King and President Yun delivered speeches, underscoring the importance of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Following a royal salute from the Guards of Honour, the guests joined the royal procession down the Mall to the Palace, accompanied by the King and Queen, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

A private luncheon was hosted at the Palace, followed by a visit to the Royal Collections exhibit in the Picture Gallery.

President Yun paid his respects by laying a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey, followed by an address at the Palace of Westminster to members of both Houses of Parliament.
