The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently relishing the school holidays with their children, following a cherished tradition.

Typically, and Kate make their way to Scotland to spend quality time with the Queen at Balmoral Castle during her summer break.

Last year, reports revealed that the Cambridges dedicated the final week of the school holidays in August at the Royal Estate, reuniting with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh after the lockdown restrictions eased.

Spanning across 50,000 acres, Balmoral offers an array of activities for the royal family to engage in.

Apart from leisurely strolls, the Queen and her kin are known to partake in barbecues, fishing excursions, horseback riding, and cycling escapades on the estate.

Since a tender age, Prince George, , and have accompanied their great-grandparents to Scotland.

Following the passing of at the age of 99 in April, William and Kate shared heartwarming, previously unseen snapshots of their children at Balmoral with the Queen and the Duke.

One endearing photograph captured the Cambridges alongside the monarch and her husband in 2015, showcasing as a mere few months old, with the Queen beaming fondly at her great-granddaughter.

Another portrait depicted the Queen and surrounded by seven of their great-grandchildren, a moment captured by Kate at Balmoral in 2018 when and his cousin were infants.

Reflecting on his personal experiences in Scotland, William expressed a mix of emotions, highlighting the significant role the country plays in his life.

During an address at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in May, he shared, “Scotland is a source of some of my happiest memories but also my saddest.”

Recalling the heartbreaking moment when he received the news of his mother's passing while at Balmoral, William found solace in the service at Crathiekirk on that fateful morning, seeking comfort amidst the profound grief through the Scottish landscapes.

Additionally, William reminisced about the joyous memory of meeting Catherine in Scotland two decades ago, emphasizing the special place the town holds in their hearts.

As William and Kate engrain their deep connection with Scotland, they are keen on imparting the significance of the country to their children.
