Royal Family Takes Aim in Epic Nerf Battle

The festival, known for its fun activities, was buzzing with excitement as the young royals joined in on the action.

According to Georgina Barron, the head of Norfolk Nerf Party, little Louis was particularly animated, running around and shouting, “Nerf or nothing, let's do this!” His infectious energy set the tone for a day filled with laughter and friendly competition.

She picked up a Nerf gun and engaged in a game of “stuck in the mud” with her kids, showcasing her playful spirit despite her health challenges.

Barron described hosting the royal family as an unforgettable honor, one that added a special touch to the festivities.

Interestingly, the royals chose to keep a low profile during their visit.

They requested no photographs, wanting to enjoy a day of wholesome family fun without the usual pomp and circumstance.

This desire for normalcy was echoed by Barron, who noted that the family simply wanted to relish the experience like any other group of parents and children.

The Gone Wilds festival typically caters to around 640 children each day, but last weekend's event was particularly special.

Barron recalled receiving a call from the production team, informing her that a “very special VIP family” had expressed interest in participating in the Nerf Wars.
