**Royal Family Comes Together to Mourn Queen’s Passing**
The new Princess of Wales, Kate, shared a touching moment when she revealed her son Prince Louis' reaction upon hearing about the Queen's passing.
Alongside Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, Kate made a surprise appearance on the Long Walk in Windsor to pay tribute to the late monarch and meet well-wishers.
Among the crowd was Bonita Ranno, 28, who overheard Kate telling children next to her about Louis' poignant words after the Queen's death.
According to Ms. Ranno, Kate recounted that four-year-old Louis had expressed, “At least Granny is with Great-Grandpa now,” reflecting on the Queen's reunion with Prince Philip in the afterlife.
Emotions ran high as Kate shared this heartfelt moment with the children standing beside her.
Louis is one of the Queen and Prince Philip's 12 great-grandchildren and had recently been seen alongside his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, during the late monarch's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
In a statement released by Louis' father, Prince William, he emphasized how his three children had cherished moments with the Queen during holidays, creating lasting memories.
The unexpected gathering of William, Harry, Kate, and Meghan to view the tributes laid by the public in honor of the Queen showcased a temporary truce among the royal family members.
A royal source disclosed that William personally invited his brother and sister-in-law to join him for the walkabout in Windsor, where both couples are currently residing.
This public appearance marked the first time that William and Kate were seen together since being bestowed the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales by the new King Charles in his recent address to the nation.
Notably, this joint outing also marked the first public appearance of the two couples since the Commonwealth Day service in early 2020, which had been the Sussexes' final engagement before stepping back from the royal family.
Reports of a rift between the brothers have circulated, with Meghan accusing Kate of making her cry during an interview and Harry expressing strained relations with his brother.
Earlier in the day, William attended the accession council, where his father, Charles, was officially proclaimed monarch in a solemn ceremony.
Alongside the new Queen Consort Camilla and numerous privy councillors, including former prime ministers, William witnessed the formal transition of power and the weight of sovereignty resting on Charles' shoulders.
Meanwhile, at Balmoral, other members of the Queen's family gathered to view flowers and interact with well-wishers at the Scottish Highlands estate where the monarch had passed away.
Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, Lady Louise Windsor, Sophie Wessex, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Peter Phillips, Princess Anne, and Sir Timothy Lawrence were among those paying their respects and acknowledging the public's outpouring of support.
