Mehtasagar also delved into the rich history of Adelaide Cottage, situated within Windsor Great Park.

The cottage's historical significance aligns with the rumored desire of and Kate to provide their children with a conventional upbringing while enjoying a sense of seclusion reminiscent of suburban life.

The exterior of Adelaide Cottage features a well-preserved original porch, complemented by meticulously maintained gardens that have retained their charm for nearly two centuries.

Recent additions include a gravel driveway, a red-brick outbuilding, and a discreet gatehouse, reflecting the couple's preference for privacy and normalcy.

The interior of the four-bedroom house boasts traditional furnishings, including a maritime-themed master bedroom inspired by a 19th-century royal vessel.

The decor of Adelaide Cottage exudes elegance through a neutral color palette featuring royal blue, deep crimson, and subtle gold accents, creating a serene ambiance ideal for a household with young children.

Despite being smaller than the family's other residences, the ancient abode symbolizes their commitment to raising their children in a grounded manner while honoring their royal heritage.

The close friendship between Kate and Sophie, along with the proximity of Bagshot Park, may have influenced the couple's choice to settle in the quaint charm of Adelaide Cottage.
