**Queen’s Near-Miss Car Incident on 96th Birthday**

II narrowly avoided a potential car crash on her 96th birthday, as revealed by recent reports.

The incident occurred when the 96-year-old monarch was seated in the front passenger seat of her black Range Rover.

The harrowing near-miss took place as her driver had to abruptly hit the brakes upon encountering a white Nissan Juke while pulling out onto a country road from her estate.

As detailed by the Express, the Queen's vehicle veered onto a grass verge, prompting the other car to swerve and come to an abrupt halt to prevent a collision.

Fortunately, the speed of the other vehicle was only at 30 miles per hour during the incident.

A witness remarked that the British monarch was incredibly fortunate, given that vehicles in that area typically travel at higher speeds.

The bystander further noted that the Range Rover should have yielded at the junction to allow the other car to pass.

“We sometimes see cars speeding along that road, so the Queen was indeed very lucky,” the witness informed the Express.

A photo shared online captured the moment of shock on the faces of Her Majesty and her driver, alongside an image of the white vehicle involved in the near-miss.

This alarming episode unfolded on the occasion of the Queen's 96th birthday.

She is believed to be residing at Sandringham's Wood Farm cottage, a residence previously used by following his retirement from public duties.

Just the day before the incident, she had flown to the location via helicopter.

In celebration of her birthday, Buckingham Palace released a new photograph showcasing the Queen's love for horses.

The image features her standing with two cherished fell ponies, Bybeck Nightingale and Bybeck Katie, slated to participate in the upcoming Royal Windsor Horse Show.

The picture, captured by Henry de Lau last month at Windsor Castle, also serves as a backdrop for many of the Queen's recent official engagements, including virtual audiences.

Throughout recent weeks and months, the Queen has faced health challenges, acknowledging mobility issues that have led to her withdrawal from various events.

Palace insiders informed The Telegraph that her attendance at the forthcoming Jubilee weekend festivities remains uncertain.

A source disclosed that it is now presumed that the Queen may not be present at the events, and a final decision will be made on the day, potentially accompanied by another member of the Royal Family.
