In light of safety concerns at Frogmore Cottage, has been informed that there are ample rooms available at Windsor Castle.

An exclusive report reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been directed to vacate Frogmore Cottage, as confirmed by a spokesperson for and .

Despite the potential loss of their residence, Prince Harry and will still have a secure accommodation while in the UK, as suggested by a royal historian.

Last Wednesday evening, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made public the request for them to depart their official UK residence.

is said to have issued this directive following the announcement of Prince Harry's upcoming book, “Spare.”

Omid Scobie, an unofficial biographer of the couple, expressed concern that removing the Sussexes from their police-protected Windsor abode would leave them without a suitable space to ensure their family's security during visits.

However, royal historian Marlene Kenneg offered a different perspective, stating that Meghan, Harry, and their children could seek shelter in other royal residences during their UK stays.

Kenneg pointed out that the Crown Estate, not the King or the Sussexes, owns Frogmore Cottage, as well as other properties like Royal Lodge and Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Kenneg also highlighted the possibility that Prince Harry's lease on the Windsor property may be nearing its expiration, potentially leading to their departure.

Frogmore Cottage holds sentimental value for the Sussexes, serving as the first home of their son Harrison, born in May 2019.

Although they relocated to California in 2020, they maintained Frogmore Cottage as their permanent English residence, utilizing it as a base during subsequent visits in 2021 and 2022.

Speculation arose regarding the Sussexes' use of Frogmore Cottage during their absence, with reports suggesting that they left their children under the care of a nanny while attending events in the UK.

The exclusive location of the cottage within Home Park meant that Meghan and Harry no longer automatically received police protection and privacy upon their visits.

While a representative for the couple confirmed the request for them to vacate, sources indicated that the news came as a shock to the Sussexes, with alleged disappointment from members of the royal family.
