**Princess Kate’s Unique Hobby Leaves Prince William Calling Her Crazy**

The Princess of Wales, Catherine, is known for her diverse range of hobbies, from photography to tennis.

Alongside her husband, , she enjoys activities like bike riding and rowing.

However, there is one pastime that the royal couple can't seem to see eye to eye on – swimming.

Princess Kate recently shared on The Good, The Bad, and the Rugby podcast that she and have differing opinions when it comes to swimming, with her husband even going as far as calling her crazy for her love of cold water swimming.

During the podcast, the mother of three confessed, “Personally, I love swimming.

Cold swimming.

The colder, the better.

I absolutely love it.

It's slightly to the point where William is like, You're crazy!”

Despite the dark and rainy weather, Princess Kate actively seeks out cold water for her swims, although she draws the line at sub-zero ice baths.

She even mentioned having a dedicated robe for post-swim warmth during a visit to Wales last year.

Reflecting on her childhood experiences playing sports with her siblings Pippa and James Middleton, Princess Kate shared fond memories of braving the cold and adverse weather.

She recalled moments of playing hockey or netball in freezing rain and thinking, “We are all totally mad.

But it has been really great fun.”

From climbing in the Lake District to swimming from a young age, Princess Kate has always embraced physical activities involving the outdoors.

Studies suggest that cold water swimming offers mental health benefits alongside physical exercise.

According to a study published by Harvard Public Health, cold water immersion stimulates endorphins, improving mood and aiding in stress, anxiety, and depression management.

Independent medical nutritionist Dr. Sarah Brewer highlighted how Princess Catherine's hobby could help alleviate stress, emphasizing the positive impact of cold water therapy.

Ali Phillips, who leads wild swimming sessions at the Lake District Spa, Armithwaite Hall, explained that cold water immersion provides a unique opportunity to disconnect and focus solely on the present moment.

For someone as busy as Princess Kate, this form of therapy offers a chance to unwind and destress effectively.

Princess Catherine and Prince William's relationship, like any other, has had its share of challenges.

Speculation suggests that one of the reasons behind their brief breakup was William's decision not to spend New Year's Eve with the Middletons in 2006.

Reports surfaced of Catherine receiving the breakup call in an office car park in London, leaving her visibly upset.

Despite the rocky patch, the couple reconciled, leading to their engagement in 2010 and subsequent marriage the following year.

Together, they have welcomed three children, solidifying their fairy tale ending.
