Princess Kate Shines in Elegance at Remembrance Day Ceremony

Princess Kate made a poignant appearance alongside the royal family to commemorate Remembrance Day this past Sunday.

The atmosphere was somber, yet she stood out in a stunning pleated black coat dress designed by Catherine Walker.

Her ensemble was further complemented by a bespoke hat crafted by Philip Treacy, showcasing her signature style.

Adding a touch of nostalgia, Kate adorned herself with diamond-encrusted pearl drop earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, .

These elegant pieces were not the only jewelry to catch the eye; Kate also debuted a striking new brooch from Bentley Skinner.

This Art Deco-inspired piece features a unique rectangular shape embellished with diamonds, capturing the essence of the glamorous Jazz Age.

The brooch's design is particularly notable, with its corners cut away to create a distinctive silhouette.

At its center lies a round-cut diamond, flanked by baguette-cut diamonds at both the top and bottom.

According to the Bentley Skinner website, the total estimated weight of the diamonds is 4.5 carats, adding to its allure.

Interestingly, this exquisite brooch may have been a special gift to mark Kate's milestone 40th birthday, which falls on January 9.

Royal observers, including the account UFO No More, revealed that the piece was available for sale in January 2022 for £14,500.

While the identity of the buyer remains unknown, it's speculated that it could have been a thoughtful present from , , Queen Consort , or even her own family.

There's also a possibility that the brooch was a gift from the late II, allowing Kate to honor her memory during such a significant event.

This connection adds an emotional layer to the day's proceedings, reflecting the deep ties within the royal family.

Earlier this year, in celebration of her 40th birthday, Buckingham Palace released three stunning portraits of Kate, taken by renowned photographer Paolo Roversi.

In a recent interview with the Italian publication Corriere della Sera, Roversi shared insights into the creative process behind the images.

He revealed that he shot around 250 photos, primarily in black and white, eventually narrowing them down to a select few.

The final trio of portraits was chosen with help from her family, including and their children—Prince George, , and .

Roversi explained that the dresses worn by Kate were selected by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, adding a touch of high fashion to the project.
