Princess Charlotte Delights Fans at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games
Princess Charlotte, known for her love of football, surprised everyone by attending the swimming competition at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games on Tuesday.
Accompanied by her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the young princess made her first public appearance without her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis.
Catherine, looking chic in a white Alexander McQueen trouser suit she previously wore during a Caribbean tour, exuded joy as she arrived at the Sandwell Aquatic Centre with her husband and daughter.
Dressed in a stylish black and white Raquel Riley dress with her hair styled in plaited pigtails, Princess Charlotte seemed thrilled to be part of the event.
She enthusiastically gestured to her parents while seated in the stands.
Joining them were other royal family members, including Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, Lady Louise Windsor, and Vice Count Severn, who also attended the Games.
Kate warmly greeted the family before taking her seat next to Charlotte at the Aquatic Centre.
During the competition, Princess Charlotte displayed her playful side by clapping, sticking out her tongue, and gasping in excitement.
Her mother, Kate, lovingly fixed her hair as they cheered for England's 1500 meter freestyle hopeful, Luke Turley.
The family later enjoyed the England and India hockey match, where Charlotte appeared a bit bored.
They also visited the Team England Futures Programme, where Charlotte had the opportunity to update the medals wall.
Princess Charlotte's interest in sports was evident as she recently sent well wishes to the Lionesses ahead of the Euro 2022 final alongside her father.
At the Games, Kate dazzled in a white jacket and matching trousers from Alexander McQueen, her go-to designer.
This marked the third time this year that she wore the suit, initially donning it during the Caribbean tour.
Her elegant look was complemented by a simple hairstyle and minimal makeup, accentuated by white gold Empress earrings from Mappin and Webb.
Having made several public appearances in recent months, Princess Charlotte has become a favorite among royal followers for her charming demeanor.
Her playful antics, including funny faces and waving to photographers, have endeared her to many.
With the Queen stepping back from royal duties, senior royals like Prince Charles have stepped in.
While the Queen remains in Scotland, Prince Charles attended the Games' opening ceremony to represent the royal family.
Sophie and Edward have also been active participants in the Games, with their children, Lady Louise and James, accompanying them to various events.
Princess Charlotte's growing presence at public engagements showcases her developing role within the royal family.
Her enthusiasm for sports and engaging personality continue to captivate audiences, making her a beloved figure among royal enthusiasts.
