Princess Catherine Undergoes Successful Abdominal Surgery

Princess Catherine, also known as the Princess of Wales, has been admitted to the London Clinic Hospital for a planned abdominal surgery, as confirmed by Kensington Palace.

It has been clarified that the procedure was not cancer-related, and the royal family has requested privacy during this time.

Following the surgery, Princess Catherine is expected to remain in the hospital for a period of 10 to 14 days before heading home to continue her recovery.

Due to this unforeseen circumstance, she will be taking a break from her public duties until after Easter, according to an official statement.

In the meantime, Prince William has adjusted his schedule to care for their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

During Princess Catherine's absence, Prince Charles will be focusing on supporting the family and ensuring a smooth transition upon her return.

Consequently, any upcoming royal engagements, including the planned trip to Rome, have been canceled as a precautionary measure.

Kensington Palace emphasized that updates on the Princess of Wales' condition will only be provided when there are significant developments to share.
