**Princess Catherine to Host Christmas Carol Service Celebrating Early Years Support**

Princess Catherine, also known as the Princess of Wales, is set to host her annual Christmas Carol service, honoring those who provide essential support to young children and families.

The festive event, a now-traditional affair, will welcome guests such as midwives and nursery teachers, alongside members of the royal family.

Anticipated attendees include the King, the Queen, the princess's husband William, and her eldest two children, Prince George and .

A heartwarming photo was released to announce the upcoming service, showing the princess adorning a £179 Fair Isle jumper from Holland Cooper Jumper while decorating a Christmas tree.

This same jumper was previously worn by her during a bedtime story reading session on CBeebies last year.

The service, scheduled for December 8 at Westminster Abbey, will be televised on ITV1 on Christmas Eve and feature performances by renowned artists like Beverly Knight, Adam Lambert, Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, and James Bay.

Bringing together a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, the service aims to embrace individuals of all beliefs and backgrounds.

The Westminster Abbey Choir will enchant the audience with renditions of beloved carols, reflecting Kate's Early Years Shaping Us initiative launched earlier this year.

This campaign underscores the importance of a child's formative years and seeks to acknowledge the efforts of those who support infants, young children, and families nationwide.

Guests at the service have been selected by Lord Lieutenants from various regions and charities affiliated with the Royal Family.

In addition to professionals from the early years sector, attendees may include families facing challenges or individuals who may struggle during the winter season.

Notably, it remains uncertain if , now five years old, will be in attendance this year after being deemed too young for the event last year.

Apart from the main service at Westminster Abbey, a series of 12 community carol services will be held across the UK, organized by Lord Lieutenants and backed by William and Kate's Royal Foundation.

Last year, the event saw the participation of numerous members of the Royal Family and the Middleton family.

In memory of the late Queen, Kate dedicated the concert to her husband's grandmother and all those who have passed away.
