Prince William Reveals His Bedtime Buddy: Meet Orla the Cocker Spaniel

In a delightful revelation, has shared that his family's bedtime routine includes an unexpected guest—his beloved cocker spaniel, Orla.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, who are devoted parents to three children, have opened up about their furry family member who snuggles in bed with them at night.

This charming tidbit came to light during a visit to Duchy College in Cornwall on October 17.

While meeting a fan's dog, William couldn't help but share his own dog's sleeping arrangements.

Louise Harland, who was there with her dog Jacques, recounted the moment to Hits Radio Cornwall.

She mentioned how William enthusiastically revealed that Orla often joins him and Kate in their bed.

William's affection for dogs was evident as he interacted with Jacques, expressing curiosity about the breed.

He noted that he had never encountered one quite like Jacques, which sparked a warm conversation about their pets.

“He absolutely loved my little dog,” Harland shared, highlighting the Prince's genuine interest in canine companions.

Orla isn't just any dog; she has a special backstory.

The royal couple welcomed her into their lives in May 2020, thanks to Kate's brother, James Middleton.

He announced the arrival of six adorable puppies from his dog Luna, and Orla quickly captured the hearts of William and Kate.

The timing of Orla's adoption was poignant, as it occurred shortly before the family said goodbye to their previous dog, Lupo.
