Prince Louis of Cambridge: A Toddler on the Move
Prince Louis, the youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has officially bid farewell to babyhood as he celebrated his third birthday last month.
The fifth in line to the British throne seems to be embracing his toddler years with full force, zooming around on his scooter like a little speed demon.
Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge engaged in a delightful phone conversation with four-year-old Mila, who had participated in the Duchess' Hold Still campaign during lockdown, in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery.
The heartwarming exchange was shared on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's newly launched YouTube channel.
During their chat, young Mila expressed her excitement at speaking with the Duchess and proudly declared that she knew the names of all the royal children.
Beginning the call with a polite “Good morning, Your Royal Highness,” Mila received an equally warm response from the Duchess, who commended her manners.
Mila then confidently listed the names of the three Cambridge siblings – six-year-old Princess Charlotte, seven-year-old Prince George, and the lively three-year-old, Prince Louis.
Impressed by Mila's knowledge, the Duchess shared a glimpse into Prince Louis's active life, revealing that the young prince has grown significantly and is now a speedy runner, often zipping around on his scooter.
Not only does Louis enjoy his scooter, but he also owns a bike.
A charming photograph of Prince Louis on his red frog bike was released last month to mark his third birthday, captured by his mother, Duchess Catherine, just before his first day at London's Wilcock Nursery School.
Describing her youngest son as a lively and energetic little boy, Duchess Catherine has previously highlighted Prince Louis's adventurous spirit.
Even at a tender age, Louis displayed his enthusiasm for exploration, showcasing his balancing skills and constantly wanting to be by his mother's side.
Royal enthusiasts were treated to a glimpse of Prince Louis in action in a family video shared by the Duke and Duchess as a token of gratitude for the well-wishes received on their 10th wedding anniversary.
In the heartwarming video, Prince Louis can be seen gleefully running around the grounds of Anmer Hall, the family's countryside residence, with his parents in tow.
The Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be engaged in a playful game of catch with her energetic son, highlighting the joy and liveliness that Prince Louis brings to the royal family.
As the spirited toddler celebrates his third year of life, it is evident that there is no slowing down for Prince Louis; his boundless energy and zest for adventure continue to captivate all those around him.
