Prince Louis’ Hilarious Advice: Eat Twice as Much Ahead of Euro 2024
In a lighthearted moment that's captured the attention of fans, Harry Kane recently shared a playful quip about advice given to the England football team by none other than Prince Louis.
The six-year-old prince suggested that the players should double their food intake as they prepare for Euro 2024.
This amusing recommendation came through his father, the Prince of Wales, during a visit to the team at St George's Park in Burton-on-Trent.
Prince William, who serves as president of the Football Association (FA), recounted how he sought input from his children while driving them to school.
He humorously noted, “I asked them what I should say to the England team today.” The kids had a simple yet comical answer: “Eat twice the amount you normally would eat.”
Imagining the players on the pitch with bulging bellies, Prince William joked about the potential consequences of such advice.
“I think maybe take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt, particularly around the physio team,” he added, eliciting laughter from those present.
Harry Kane responded to this amusing anecdote with a chuckle, acknowledging the impracticality of the suggestion.
“I know,” he said, “we've got to be careful with that.
I don't think the nutritionist was too happy with that advice.” His light-hearted tone underscored the camaraderie within the team, especially with the royal family's support.
The visit from Prince William was not only a morale booster but also a surprise for the players, who were unaware he would be stopping by.
Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Mark Bullingham, the FA's chief executive, before engaging with England manager Gareth Southgate and technical director John McDermott.
After greeting the squad, Prince William watched a video revealing the official squad line-up.
