Prince Harry’s Emotional Plea to King Charles Revealed
Prince Harry found himself in a heart-wrenching situation when he was informed of his eviction from Frogmore Cottage and reached out to his father, King Charles, with a heartfelt plea.
The Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, were gifted Frogmore Cottage by the late Queen Elizabeth as a wedding present.
However, they were asked to vacate the residence last March following the announcement of Harry's memoir, Spare.
In the latest book “Endgame” by Omid Scobie, it was revealed that the news of the eviction deeply upset Prince Harry.
He immediately called King Charles to express his feelings, emphasizing how difficult it would be for him to keep his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, away from their grandfather.
Just days after learning about the eviction, Prince Harry posed a poignant question to his father, asking, “Don't you want to see your grandchildren?”
According to Scobie's account, King Charles responded with a somewhat lackluster assurance that there would always be a place for them to stay.
However, a royal commentator, Michael Cole, pointed out the stark reality that the King has had limited contact with his grandchildren since Prince Harry and Meghan's relocation to the United States in 2020.
He mentioned that King Charles has only seen Lilibet once and has had minimal interaction with Archie.
Expressing his dismay over the situation, Cole described the lack of connection between the King and his grandchildren as truly saddening.
He highlighted the discrepancy between Prince Harry's inquiry about seeing the children and the actuality of the limited visits.
Cole emphasized the emotional impact of the estrangement, noting that it is a regrettable state of affairs for the royal family.
Adding to the discourse, Cole criticized Prince Harry's statements about missing the UK and accused him and Meghan of harboring negative intentions toward the royal family.
He characterized their behavior as entitled and driven by a harmful agenda that undermines the family's unity.
