Prince Harry’s Celebrity Concerns: The Tyndall Connection

is reportedly feeling a bit uneasy with Mike Tyndall's upcoming appearance on “I Am A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.”

For those who might not know, Mike is married to Zara Tyndall, the granddaughter of the late II and a cousin to both and .

Since their marriage in 2011, Mike has been a familiar face at royal events, from weddings to jubilees, and he often shares anecdotes from these occasions on his podcast, “The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.”

While Prince Harry is aware that Mike is a loyal family member who wouldn't intentionally stir up trouble, there's an underlying tension.

Living close by in the UK, Harry knows that Tyndall's allegiance lies firmly with the royal family.

This loyalty, however, could also mean that Mike might not hold back when discussing the Sussexes, especially given the drama that has surrounded Harry and Meghan in recent years.

Harry's concerns are rooted in the fact that Mike has witnessed firsthand the turmoil that he and Meghan have caused within the royal circles.

Even though Mike wouldn't aim to create drama, Harry is apprehensive about him being loose-lipped during his time on the reality show.

The last thing Harry wants is for any comments to cast him or Meghan in a negative light.

In a recent interview, Mike shared that he sought permission from his wife, Zara, before agreeing to join the reality series.

When questioned about whether he consulted the royal family, he responded with a hint of sarcasm, suggesting that it's nobody's business if he did or didn't.

This playful remark hints at the complicated dynamics he navigates as a member of the royal family while also stepping into the celebrity spotlight.

Mike's participation in “I'm A Celebrity” is notable as it marks the first time a royal has taken part in a reality TV show.

This unprecedented move raises questions about how it will affect his relationship with the family and how the public will perceive him in this new role.

The history between Harry and Mike adds another layer to the situation.

Back in 2003, during the Rugby World Cup in Sydney, the two enjoyed a wild night out together, even playfully testing the limits of Harry's security.

Mike and his teammate, Ian Bolshaw, once tried to see how long it would take for Harry's bodyguards to intervene when they pretended to throw punches at him.

To their surprise, it only took seconds for the guards to step in.

Fast forward to September 2021, during a live event at the London Palladium, Mike joked that there were other royals who might want to throw punches at Harry.

He quipped about conversations happening at Balmoral, suggesting that the family was talking about Harry, albeit with a humorous twist, mentioning that the Queen had removed his security.

However, the current state of Mike and Harry's relationship seems a bit murky.

Reports surfaced earlier this year indicating that Mike had referred to Harry as a “bellend” at a reception following the Queen's Platinum Party concert.

This comment, made to another guest, certainly raises eyebrows about the camaraderie between the two cousins.

Adding to the complexity, there have been whispers that Mike's mother-in-law, , has expressed discontent with Harry and Meghan for stepping back from their royal duties two years ago.
