**Prince Harry Urged to Suspend Royal Title by Royal Expert**

A royal expert has suggested that Prince Harry should consider relinquishing his royal title and request the Queen to suspend it.

Lady Colin Campbell, author of Meghan and Harry – The Real Story, has initiated a petition encouraging the Duke of Sussex to ask the Queen to put his titles into abeyance, temporarily suspending their use.

This call comes in the wake of Harry and Meghan Markle's decision, announced on January 8 last year, to step back from their senior roles within the royal family after discussions with Prince Charles, Prince William, and the Queen at Sandringham.

Lady C, a former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant, believes it would be appropriate for Prince Harry to seek the suspension of his titles, a sentiment echoed by over 21,000 individuals who have signed the petition thus far.

The Change.org petition aims to encourage Prince Harry to voluntarily request the Queen to put his royal style, titles, and rank into abeyance.

By doing so, he would be freed from the diplomatic, political, and constitutional constraints associated with royal status, allowing him to express his personal beliefs without causing conflicts with established constitutional principles in both the UK and the US.

The petition argues that as a private citizen without royal titles, Prince Harry could freely articulate his beliefs without risking damage to the monarchy or international relations.

Lady C shared with the Daily Star her motivation behind launching the petition, emphasizing that it offers a dignified and humane solution to a complex situation.

She believes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can still leverage their brand effectively even without their royal titles.

Lady C expressed that freeing Prince Harry from his titles would enable him to act independently without the burden of royal responsibilities, allowing him to capitalize on his identity as an individual rather than as a member of the royal family.

In Lady C's view, Prince Harry has outgrown the need for his royal titles and can thrive without them.

She contends that by shedding his titles, Prince Harry can maintain his public presence and commercial ventures while clearly distinguishing his personal endeavors from his former royal duties.

This move, she believes, would clarify that Prince Harry is acting in his own capacity, separate from his previous royal obligations to the nation and its people.
