**Prince Harry Excluded from Dinner Invite with King Charles and Prince William Following Queen’s Death**
Prince Harry hurried to Balmoral to be with his family following the passing of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, despite tensions still lingering between them.
The Duke of Sussex found himself left out from an invitation to dine with King Charles and Prince William, his estranged father and brother, shortly after the Queen's demise, as per a royal insider.
Arriving in Aberdeen after hearing of his grandmother's deteriorating health, Prince Harry was unable to see her one last time as she breathed her last at Balmoral on September 8, 2022, before his arrival.
Alongside his wife Meghan Markle, who were in the UK for a charitable event, Harry received the news of the Queen's demise through a BBC News alert on his phone.
Upon reaching the Scottish estate, Princess Anne greeted Harry warmly and escorted him to meet the Queen.
It wasn't until the next day in London that Harry reunited with Charles and William, following revelations from a new biography suggesting Harry was excluded from a confidential meeting concerning the aftermath of the Queen's death.
Biographer Robert Hardman disclosed in his book “Charles III.
New King.
New Court.”
that William and the King convened with Queen Camilla at Birkhall, Charles's residence on the Scottish estate for crucial discussions.
The absence of Harry in these talks was attributed to concerns that he might be documenting details for his upcoming book, necessitating the new King's undivided attention.
Reports surfaced alleging Meghan Markle was prohibited from accompanying Harry due to their strained relationship with the royal institution, while Princess Kate also opted to remain with her children instead.
Subsequently, Harry shared a meal with his aunt and cousins, including Zara Tyndall, before hastily departing for London via commercial flight.
In his memoir “Spare,” Harry recounted the urgency of his return journey, expressing that flying with his father or brother would have been the fastest means, but settling for British Airways was the next best option.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced further controversy as it emerged that Queen Elizabeth may not have endorsed the naming of their daughter Lilibet.
Lilibet, a childhood moniker used by close acquaintances of the Queen due to her difficulty pronouncing Elizabeth, caused distress to the Queen in her final days.
Despite Harry and Meghan's assertion that they wouldn't have chosen the name without the Queen's approval, the decision seemed to have unsettled her.
