**Prince Harry and Meghan Face Christmas Invite Snub Amid Endgame Fallout**
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's hopes of reuniting with the Royal Family for Christmas have been dashed, as an expert predicts they won't receive an invitation due to their association with Omid Scobie and his controversial book, Endgame.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been vying for a spot at the traditional festive gathering at Sandringham this year.
However, allegations of royal racism detailed in Scobie's book and the couple's ties to the author have likely hindered any chance of reconciliation with the rest of the Royals.
Pauline McLaren, a Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway, University of London, expressed skepticism about the likelihood of the Sussexes being welcomed back into the fold for Christmas.
She emphasized the negative impact that the revelations in Endgame could have on their chances, stating, “I doubt if there was any invitation to spend Christmas with the Royal Family.
I would be very surprised.
The furore over Endgame isn't going to help.”
The upcoming Christmas season follows a tumultuous period for Harry and Meghan, marked by a series of explosive claims made in their Netflix documentary series and the Duke's memoir, Spare.
Endgame has reignited Meghan's previous assertion that concerns were raised within the Royal Family about the skin color of her son, Archie.
While Prince Harry has attempted to clarify the situation by denying the family's inherent racism, Scobie's book suggests that two royals did indeed question Archie's skin tone, causing uproar in the UK.
The identities of the alleged royal figures have been kept confidential, with Piers Morgan being among the first to disclose their names on his talk show.
The media frenzy surrounding the couple escalated further when reports surfaced suggesting that Harry and Meghan were open to spending Christmas at Sandringham if invited.
However, such speculations were dismissed as “pathetic” by Daily Mail diary editor Richard Eden, who criticized the manner in which the information was leaked to the press.
Prior to the release of Endgame, efforts were made to distance the Sussexes from the book, with claims that they had not contributed to its content.
Despite this, the fallout from the book may jeopardize any chances of reconciliation between Harry, Meghan, and the Royal Family.
The couple's last Christmas with the Royals dates back to 2018, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, have yet to partake in the festive celebrations with the Windsors.
In 2017, Queen Elizabeth II made an exception to the royal rule to allow Harry and Meghan to attend Christmas at Sandringham, and the following year, they spent the holiday with Meghan's mother after Archie's birth.
As the holiday season approaches, the rift between the Sussexes and the Royal Family appears to deepen, with Endgame serving as a significant barrier to any potential reconciliation.
The prospects of a joyous Christmas reunion for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem bleak, overshadowed by the lingering controversies and strained relationships within the monarchy.
