However, royal commentator Molly Mulshine has highlighted a significant hurdle in their plans – Lilibet may not be able to don the royal christening gown upon her return.

During an episode of Us Weekly's Royally Us podcast, royal commentator Gary Baldy expressed skepticism about Meghan's immediate visit to the UK, stating that the couple might opt for a more private affair.

Co-host Ms. Mulshine chimed in by referencing Jonathan Sacerdotty's recent claims regarding the timing of Meghan and Harry's wedding, which were disputed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

This discrepancy could potentially complicate matters if the christening is to take place within the Church of England.

Royal historian Marlene Koenig cast doubts on the likelihood of the Sussexes returning to the UK for Lilibet's christening, suggesting that she might miss the opportunity to wear the same christening gown worn by her brother, Harrison.

In an interview with Express.co.uk, Ms. Koenig expressed surprise at the prospect of the baby being baptized in the UK and dismissed the possibility of the christening gown being sent to California due to logistical challenges and costs.

Meanwhile, reiterated his commitment to creating a better world for his children, and Lilibet, during the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

As per reports by the Cheat Sheet, the royal couple's frequent media presence and their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020 have seemingly irked some individuals, landing them spots on the list.
