Netflix CEO Kicks Meghan Out of Empty Seat

In a surprising turn of events at Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, found herself in the spotlight once again, this time without by her side.

The former actress attended the concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where she was spotted mingling with celebrities like Kerry Washington and Kelly Rowland.

Celebrity photographer Kevin Mazur captured the moment, showcasing Meghan enjoying the night out with her famous friends.

Dressed to impress, Meghan opted for a chic silver mock-neck tank paired with a stylish skirt, putting her own spin on the evening's silver dress code.

Kerry Washington turned heads in an embellished black top and leather pants, while Kelly Rowland added flair with face gems and a striking black leather bustier.

The star-studded event also attracted other big names, including Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet, and Katy Perry, among others.

The night took an unexpected twist when Meghan was seen sitting next to Ted Sarandos, the co-CEO of Netflix, and his wife.

However, she occupied that seat for a mere ten seconds before relocating.

This brief encounter has raised eyebrows, leading many to speculate about the reasons behind her swift departure.

Sources suggest that Sarandos and his wife may have felt uneasy being photographed alongside the Duchess of Sussex.

Adding to the intrigue, Meghan's seating arrangement occurred within a box that included a billionaire, where security was notably tight.

It's likely that strict measures were in place to prevent any unauthorized recordings during the high-profile event.

This incident has sparked conversations about Meghan's current standing with Netflix, especially as the streaming giant prepares to release its documentary, “Heart of Invictus.”

Despite the anticipation surrounding the documentary, it has struggled to make waves, failing to crack the top 10 charts on Netflix in both the US and the UK since its debut.

This lackluster performance could leave Netflix feeling dissatisfied with the $100 million deal it struck with Harry and Meghan, particularly given the couple's recent challenges in the entertainment industry.

Their woes don't end there.

The couple's $20 million deal with Spotify came to an abrupt halt in June, further complicating their media ambitions.

Additionally, the animated series “Pearl,” which was set to premiere on Netflix, was scrapped before it could even launch.

Reports indicate that at least two other show concepts pitched by the couple have also been rejected by Netflix executives.

As it stands, Netflix does not plan to renew Harry and Meghan's lucrative contract, which is set to expire in 2025.
