Meghan Markle’s Royal Reunion in New York City Takes a Dramatic Turn
Meghan Markle and her close friend Serena Williams had a regal reunion in New York City, painting the town royal red before things took a dramatic turn.
The duo, accompanied by stylist Jessica Mulroney and Markle's best friend Marcus Anderson, enjoyed a night out at a polo bar.
Anderson, known for introducing Markle to her husband Prince Harry, joined the party as they spent three hours inside the restaurant before stepping out into the chilly New York night.
Upon returning to their luxurious hotel, The Mark on Manhattan's Upper East Side, a source close to Serena revealed an incident involving Meghan's behavior towards a bartender at the bar.
Allegedly, when the bartender asked, “What can I get you, Meghan?”
she responded with arrogance, saying, “Don't you know who I am?”
Despite the staff recognizing her from the show “Suits,” Meghan insisted, “You really don't know me.
I'm the Duchess of Sussex.
You must address me as Duchess, you peasant.”
Meghan's actions did not sit well with the other guests at the bar, who found her behavior rude, mean, and demanding.
Criticism arose from various individuals who claimed to have had negative encounters with Meghan in the past.
These accounts included a Canadian waitress, one of Meghan's sorority sisters, an anonymous PR CEO, Jessica Simpson's cousin, Diana Epper's relative working at Givenchy, Meghan's college classmate Dylan Lynch, and even one of Meghan's former bosses who accused her of screaming and bullying over email.
During the New York City outing, Meghan arrived at the bar in a State Department vehicle, flashing a wide smile as she stepped out alongside Anderson.
She was elegantly dressed in a full-length black Victoria Beckham coat, paired with dark skinny jeans and tall black Tamara Mullen boots.
Serena Williams sported a similar look, while Jessica Mulroney stood out in a black and white houndstooth coat, adding a touch of style to the group's evening.
Markle and her companions were later joined by friends Misha Nonoo and Abigail Spunser at the trendy Big Apple eatery.
The group, including Markle's gal pals, enjoyed their time at the equestrian-themed hotspot, creating quite a buzz in the city.
Despite the initial royal reunion turning sour due to Meghan's behavior, the night was filled with glamour and high spirits as the group dined and socialized in the bustling city that never sleeps.
