Meghan Markle’s Fury Unleashed: Critics’ Choice Awards Blacklist Her While Elevating Co-Star Abigail Spencer

The 29th annual Critics' Choice Awards are gearing up for a spectacular showcase on Sunday, January 14th at the Barga Hangar in Santa Monica.

This year, the ceremony will be graced by the return of Chelsea Handler as the host, with festivities kicking off at 4 pm.

Viewers can catch all the action live on The CW, broadcasting simultaneously on the East Coast and in Los Angeles.

Reports have surfaced indicating that has been notably excluded from the awards lineup, a move that has left her seething with frustration.

In a surprising twist, her former close friend and co-star, Abigail Spencer, has been handed a prominent role in the event.

The show is being executive produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment, under the auspices of the Critics' Choice Association.

Originally slated to be held at Los Angeles' Fairmount Century Plaza for the third consecutive year, the venue was shifted to Santa Monica due to an ongoing labour dispute at the hotel.

Despite the change in location, the essence of the awards remains unchanged – to celebrate the best of the year in both film and television.

Leading the pack with a staggering 18 nominations is the film “Barbie,” closely followed by “Oppenheimer” and “Poor Things” with 13 and “Killers of the Flower Moon” with 12 nods.

On the television front, “The Morning Show” secures the top spot with 6 nominations, trailed by “Succession” with 5.

Other notable TV contenders include “Abbott Elementary,” “The Bear,” “Beef,” “Lessons in Chemistry,” “Loki,” “Reservation Dogs,” and “A Small Light,” each garnering 4 nominations.

Apart from the star-studded lineup of presenters, featuring luminaries like Angela Bassett, Anthony Ramos, and Brendan Fraser, the absence of from the awards circuit has raised eyebrows.

Sources close to the William Morris Endeavor (WME) agency reveal that Meghan is seething over the fact that her former suit co-stars are landing plum roles and presenting at prestigious events while she remains sidelined.

The snub at both the Critics' Choice Awards and the Golden Globes has left Meghan feeling isolated, with insiders attributing this to her decision to step back from her acting career in pursuit of a royal lifestyle.

The fallout from Megxit continues to haunt her, with WME maintaining a stoic silence reminiscent of the British Royal Family's motto – ignoring Meghan's pleas for red carpet access.

Adding fuel to the fire, a former advisor on US-UK relations, Lee Cohen, lambasted and Meghan Markle for their string of missteps and failures.

From their explosive interview with to their Netflix documentary chronicling their struggles within the royal family, the couple's attempts to reshape their public image have largely fallen flat.

As the royal couple grapples with mounting criticism and dwindling public support, it seems that their quest for redemption in the eyes of both American and British audiences may be an uphill battle.

With allegations of hypocrisy and a penchant for victimhood narratives, the Sussexes find themselves at a crossroads, facing a stark reality check as they navigate the turbulent waters of public opinion.
