Megan Markle’s Podcast: Where is It?

As summer sizzles on, many are left wondering about the fate of 's eagerly anticipated podcast, Archetypes.

Initially announced with much fanfare, the podcast was set to be a Spotify exclusive.

However, four months have passed since the trailer dropped, and fans are still waiting for the final product.

This delay has led to speculation and frustration, particularly given the Duchess of Sussex's history with various business ventures that seem to have fizzled out.

Megan's track record with projects has raised eyebrows.

If one were to think of her as a location, it might resemble a distant realm where innovative ideas go to fade away.

Over the past two years, several initiatives have been launched only to vanish without a trace.

Let's take a closer look at some of these ventures that have not quite lived up to their promise.

One notable collaboration was with Clever Blends, a company specializing in instant oat milk lattes infused with adaptogens.

Meghan became a spokesperson for the brand back in December 2020, even gifting a basket filled with Clever Blends products.

While the company continues to thrive and boasts that its offerings are among Oprah's favorites, Meghan's involvement seems to have been more of a fleeting moment than a lasting partnership.

Then there was Ethic, an asset management firm that Harry and Meghan joined as Impact Partners and Investors in October 2021.

Their aim was to champion ethical investing, but things didn't go as planned.

Despite grand ambitions, reports revealed that Ethic's portfolio included investments in companies like ExxonMobil and Twitter, raising questions about their commitment to ethical practices.

After an initial splash in the media, both Meghan and Harry seemed to disappear from the conversation, leaving Ethic to carry on without them.

Fast forward to their $25 million deal with Spotify, which has also hit some rocky waters.

According to US Weekly, the couple's podcast, Archival Audio, is struggling to find its footing.

So far, listeners have only been treated to a single 30-minute holiday episode released over a year ago.

With no new content in sight, Spotify's patience is wearing thin.

The streaming giant reportedly finds itself frustrated with the Sussexes.

Sources indicate that Spotify has struggled to establish contact with the couple, which has led to the hiring of new producers to salvage whatever audio they can.

The situation has become so dire that Spotify is now grappling with how to create new episodes from scant material.

Although legal action hasn't been considered yet, the company is certainly feeling the pressure to extract something, anything, from the partnership.

In the midst of this turmoil, brand management expert Eric Schiffer suggests that the delays may stem from the couple's desire for perfection.

He posits that Meghan and Harry are likely focused on ensuring that their inaugural release meets high standards.

After all, a misstep could jeopardize their standing in the entertainment industry and their ongoing relationship with Spotify.

Schiffer emphasizes the importance of quality over quantity.

He believes that the Sussexes understand the stakes involved and are working diligently to produce something that will not only satisfy their audience but also solidify their reputation in a competitive market.
