**Lady Louise Windsor Attends Church Service for the Queen Amidst Nation’s Grief**

Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of the Earl and Countess of Wessex, appeared visibly saddened as she departed from Balmoral to participate in a church service dedicated to the late Queen.

The nation was left in shock when news of Her Majesty's passing was announced on Thursday evening at 6.30pm.

Members of the royal family have been assembling at the Queen's Scottish residence to pay their final respects.

In a solemn moment captured by photographers, Lady Louise Windsor was seen alongside other royals making their way to a prayer service at the nearby Crathie Kirk.

The Queen had been a regular attendee at this quaint church during her stays at Balmoral.

On Saturday, the 18-year-old Louise, previously known as the Queen's favorite grandchild, joined fellow royals in honoring the monarch.

Following the prayer service at Crathie Kirk, three of the Queen's four children – the Princess Royal, the Duke of York, and the Earl of Wessex – along with the Countess of Wessex and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence, engaged in a walkabout.

Dressed elegantly in a black gown, Lady Louise spent a poignant ten minutes with her family, reading messages of condolences and admiring the floral tributes before retreating inside Balmoral Castle.

As senior members of the royal family acknowledged the well-wishers gathered at the Aberdeenshire estate, the crowd erupted in cheers.

Lady Louise's father, the Earl of Wessex, expressed gratitude to the supporters lining the path back to Balmoral Castle, accompanied by his wife and their daughter.

Among the attendees were the Queen's grandchildren Peter Phillips, Zara Tyndall, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Lady Louise Windsor.

Lady Louise has been increasingly visible in recent years, coinciding with her parents' elevated roles within the royal family following certain controversies and departures.

She actively participated in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, accompanied her parents to the Commonwealth Games, and made a successful TV appearance in a documentary honoring her beloved grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Recognized by patrons of the Garden Centre where she works since completing her A-levels, Lady Louise is now preparing for a new chapter as a student at the University of St Andrews, a significant milestone akin to her cousin Prince William's experience.

Unlike her older cousins, she had the privilege of spending ample time with the Queen and Prince Philip due to their reduced long-haul travels.

Lady Louise's upbringing was relatively shielded from the public eye until her role as a bridesmaid at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding in 2011.

Notably, it was her grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, who nurtured her passion for carriage driving, a sport he cherished post-retirement.
