Kate Shines in Orange at Cardiff Castle for Platinum Jubilee Celebration
In a dazzling display of style and spirit, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, arrived at Cardiff Castle today, dressed in a stunning bespoke orange coat from Eponine.
Accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and their two adorable children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the family gathered to partake in the festivities honoring the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
As she stepped out of the car, Kate radiated joy, clearly excited about the day ahead.
Her vibrant coat, a standout piece from Eponine's Autumn-Winter 2018 collection, featured a chic mandarin collar and eye-catching button details.
This isn't the first time Kate has donned this particular coat; she previously wore it during a visit to the National Portrait Gallery last year to celebrate her bestselling photography book, “Hold Still.”
The Duchess paired her eye-catching coat with sleek black heels and a stylish miniature handbag from D'Amelia, priced at £295.
Her hair was styled back into a high ponytail, and her makeup was refreshingly natural, showcasing a soft pink lip gloss and a light smoky eye.
The overall look was both elegant and approachable, perfectly suited for the celebratory atmosphere.
Today marks the third official day of events dedicated to celebrating Her Majesty's remarkable 70 years on the throne.
Just yesterday, the royal family participated in a service at St. Paul's Cathedral, followed by a day filled with street parties.
The highlight of those festivities was a memorable appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where Kate joined her family to wave to the enthusiastic crowds below.
At Cardiff Castle, the Duke and Duchess were set to engage with performers and crew members involved in the special concert taking place later in the day.
The excitement was palpable as they prepared to meet some of the acts scheduled to perform, including renowned singer Bonnie Tyler and local favorites like Owen Wyn Evans.
In addition to mingling with the talent, Prince William and Kate were keen to learn about the technical aspects of the show.
They would gain insights into the lighting, sound, and visual effects that would enhance the concert experience, showcasing the meticulous planning that goes into such a grand event.
Hosted by Ella Jones and Sian Coffey, the concert promises to be a spectacular showcase of Welsh talent.
