Kate Shines Bright at Easter Service Celebrating the Queen’s Birthday
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, radiated elegance as she joined the royal family for an Easter Sunday service at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
This special occasion, which took place in April 2019, also marked a celebration of the Queen's birthday.
Dressed in a recycled lilac Alexander McQueen coat dress, Kate seemed to be in high spirits, greeting her grandmother-in-law with a respectful curtsy outside the chapel.
This wasn't the first time Kate donned this stunning gown; she previously wore it during another Easter service back in 2014 while on a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand.
As she made her way into the church, she was all smiles, particularly when catching the eye of her husband, Prince William.
Complementing her outfit, Kate chose high-heeled court shoes that perfectly matched her grey fascinator.
In keeping with her understated style, Kate opted for minimal jewelry, wearing only her wedding ring and eye-catching dangling earrings from Robinson Pelham, which she first showcased on her wedding day.
Adding a touch of royal flair, she adorned herself with a beautiful diamond and pearl oak leaf and acorn brooch, a piece she originally debuted during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in May 2012.
Embracing her signature look, Kate wore her dark hair down and loose, exuding a relaxed yet polished vibe.
She appeared genuinely happy, exchanging smiles with her husband's cousin, Zara Tindall, as they entered the chapel together.
Taking advantage of the sunny weather, Kate opted for bare legs and a fresh, minimal makeup look that beautifully complemented her outfit.
As for the Easter festivities, reports indicate that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge planned to celebrate the holiday privately with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
According to Hello magazine, George and Charlotte were on holiday and would join their parents for the celebrations.
The family is expected to travel to Windsor, where they traditionally attend the Easter Sunday church service alongside other members of the royal family.
The day promises to be filled with joy, especially for the young royals, who are set to enjoy an Easter egg hunt in the morning, a delightful tradition for families everywhere.
