Kate Rushes to Pick Up Children as Royals Flock to Queen’s Bedside
Kate Middleton was captured leaving her residence to fetch her three children from their first day at school amidst mounting worries about the Queen's well-being.
The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted driving from her home in Windsor to retrieve her kids from Lamerick School.
A source from the royal family revealed that the Cambridge children were especially thrilled to be attending the same school together for the first time.
The source added that the children and their parents were equally enthusiastic about embarking on this new school journey.
What was anticipated to be a joyous occasion for the family has taken a somber turn with concerns arising regarding the Queen's health.
This development comes after several months of escalating apprehension about the 96-year-old monarch's well-being, during which she had withdrawn from various official and personal commitments.
While Prince William joined other senior royals in hastening to Balmoral, Kate Middleton opted to stay behind as it was her children's inaugural day at school.
In an official statement released by Kensington Palace, it was conveyed that The Duchess of Cambridge remained in Windsor due to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis commencing their first full day at their new school.
Simultaneously, all four of the Queen's children, along with Prince William, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, are en route to Balmoral.
The news of the Queen's health concerns was disclosed today following advice from Her Majesty's medical team.
The initial announcement stated, “Following further assessment this morning, the Queen's doctors have expressed apprehension about Her Majesty's health and have recommended continued medical supervision.”
Despite the situation, the Queen is reported to be comfortable and currently at Balmoral.
