**Kate Middleton Pays Tribute to Princess Diana at Trooping the Colour Event**

The Princess of Wales, , paid a heartfelt tribute to her late mother-in-law as she graced the Trooping the Colour ceremony for the King's birthday today.

Looking radiant at 41 years old, Kate donned an elegant bright green satin dress paired with a matching hat as she arrived at the Horse Guards Parade alongside Queen and her three children.

Accompanied by her husband, the Prince of Wales, who rode on horseback alongside , Kate's children – Prince George, , and – showcased impeccable behavior as they paraded down the mall in a carriage, joyfully waving and smiling at the crowd.

In a touching gesture to , Kate accessorized her outfit with a pair of sapphire drop earrings that once belonged to her late mother-in-law.

This year's Trooping the Colour event marks the first celebration following the passing of II last September, and it serves as ' inaugural birthday parade.

Embracing her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, a position she assumed from her husband towards the end of the previous year, Kate opted for a striking monochromatic look in green, symbolizing her ties to the Irish Guards.

To further emphasize her Irish connection, she adorned a gold clover-shaped brooch.

Completing her ensemble, the Duchess styled her chestnut locks in a chic low bun, neatly tucked under the brim of her hat.

As Kate and her three children arrived at the event, they delightedly greeted royal enthusiasts with waves and smiles, exuding charm and grace.

Subsequently, Kate joined other members of the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony to witness a spectacular military flypast featuring approximately 70 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.

Alongside her husband, the Prince of Wales, and their children, Kate shared the balcony with King Charles, Queen , and other esteemed guests.

Among the attendees were Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, accompanied by her husband Prince Edward, , and her spouse Sir Timothy Lawrence.

On Saturday, Charles will be joined by the Queen and additional members of the Royal Family to observe the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards trooping their color.

The longstanding tradition of Trooping the Colour has commemorated the Sovereign's official birthday for over 260 years, with this year's event showcasing a magnificent display of more than 60 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.
