Kate Middleton Dazzles in Repeated Jenny Packham Gown at Glamorous Gala

In the world of royal fashion, is known for her elegance and style, but she also has a practical side.

The Princess of Wales often wears her favorite outfits multiple times, a habit that has earned her the label of being thrifty.

Recently, she was spotted at a gala dinner in New York, donning a stunning midnight blue gown by her preferred designer, Jenny Packham.

This particular dress has graced her wardrobe on three separate occasions, yet it never fails to impress.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off their day at the Freedom Tower in Lower Manhattan, where they attended a lunch reception for the UK's Great Campaign.

Despite the rain, the event drew an impressive crowd, including notable figures such as Stuart Weavers, Harvey Weinstein, and Gina Leons.

This affair marked a significant gathering, celebrating the 600th anniversary of the University of St. Andrews, where both Kate and William completed their studies and eventually fell in love.

The gala dinner aimed to raise funds for their alma mater, and the royal couple stepped out in style.

Kate's choice of attire—a breathtaking Jenny Packham gown—was complemented by her hair elegantly swept into a chignon.

As she arrived at the museum, an honor guard of fellow alumni, dressed in traditional red gowns and kilts, welcomed her with open arms.

Although some fashion enthusiasts might be disappointed that Kate has worn the dress before, the combination of her regal presence and William's dapper suit created a striking image.

During the event, Kate kept it simple with a glass of water while showcasing her ensemble with fashionable black heels.

Her accessories were equally noteworthy, featuring her iconic engagement ring and exquisite diamond and emerald earrings, a thoughtful gift from a friend.

The couple then made their way to the museum's Great Hall for a reception, followed by a dinner in the Temple of Dendur, an ancient Egyptian structure dating back to around 15 BC.

As they ascended the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was seen affectionately touching Kate's shoulder.

The couple waved to the crowd, radiating joy, with William sporting a broad grin.

The gala attracted around 450 guests, with ticket prices ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, all in support of St. Andrews' fundraising efforts.

The funds raised during the evening will contribute to new sports facilities at the prestigious university and provide scholarships for students from less privileged backgrounds.

During his speech, William expressed heartfelt sentiments about St. Andrews, saying, “I don't need to tell you how much St. Andrews means to me and Catherine.” He emphasized the importance of supporting such a remarkable institution.

In a light-hearted moment, the Duke referenced the university's notorious reputation for heavy drinking, joking that graduates either leave married or as alcoholics.

He humorously advised parents of current students to inquire about their children's knowledge of a certain pub, suggesting that they might want to keep the wine glasses out of reach if the answer was affirmative.

Both William and Kate graduated from St. Andrews in 2005, and since then, the Duke has become the patron of the anniversary fundraising campaign.

He initially launched this initiative during a visit to the university with Kate back in February 2011, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to their educational roots.

Before the gala, William took some time to tour the Empire State Building, which had been lit up in red, white, and blue in recent days.

While he engaged with officials and enjoyed the breathtaking views from the observation deck, Kate opted for a more relaxed day, taking a well-deserved break.
