Jamie Foxx’s Scathing Roast of Harry and Meghan at Daughter’s Engagement Party

At a recent engagement party for his daughter, Corinne Foxx, actor and comedian Jamie Foxx didn't shy away from stirring the pot.

Hosted at his lavish Los Angeles mansion, the gathering turned into a platform for Foxx to voice his controversial opinions on and 's marriage.

The Oscar-winning star's comedic jabs at the royal couple had guests laughing, but they also sparked a wave of backlash.

As he celebrated Corinne's upcoming wedding to actor and singer Jordan Fisher, Foxx took a moment to compare their relationship to that of Harry and Meghan.

He boldly declared that his daughter's marriage would never reach the level of embarrassment associated with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Let me tell you something, my daughter's marriage will never be as embarrassing as theirs,” he quipped, eliciting laughter and applause from the crowd.

Foxx didn't stop there.

He criticized Harry and Meghan's decision to step back from royal duties, questioning their motives for leaving their family and country behind.

“All for what?

To be second-rate celebrities in America?”

he asked, clearly unimpressed with their choices.

His comments struck a chord with many attendees who seemed to relish the humor, while others found it distasteful.

The comedian also took aim at the couple's claims of racism and mistreatment within the royal family, which were highlighted during their explosive interview with .

Foxx accused them of “playing the victim card” and suggested they were “lying through their teeth” to garner sympathy.

His dismissive remarks about concerns regarding their child's skin color—“Come on, man, that's BS”—were particularly pointed, indicating his belief that the couple was merely trying to tarnish the royal family's image.

He went further, suggesting that had Harry and Meghan surrounded themselves with genuine friends instead of “Hollywood phonies,” they might have found the support they claimed was lacking.

This commentary added another layer to his critique, painting the couple as out of touch with reality.

Foxx didn't hold back on Meghan's acting career either, labeling her as a “mediocre actress at best” and insinuating that her marriage to Harry was a strategic move to elevate her fame.

“Harry is a fool to fall for her,” he remarked, expressing his disappointment in the prince for sacrificing so much for someone he deemed unworthy.

In a dramatic flourish, Foxx described Harry as a “puppet” and likened him to a “lost puppy,” suggesting that he had lost his masculinity in the process.

“He does whatever she says.

He's whipped.

He's not a man, he's a mouse,” he stated, drawing both laughter and gasps from the audience.

Despite the humor, the speech did not come without consequences.

While many guests found the roast entertaining, it was met with criticism from others who felt it crossed a line.

One anonymous guest told the Daily Mail that Foxx's comments were “in poor taste” and suggested he should apologize to the royal couple for his harshness.

Conversely, another attendee defended Foxx, stating that his intention was purely comedic.

“He was just joking, and he had no ill will towards the royal couple,” they insisted.
