Introducing Princess Eugenie’s Second Child: Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie has joyfully announced the arrival of her second child, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.

The granddaughter of the late II, aged 33, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, aged 37, welcomed their newborn, weighing 7 pounds 1 ounce, nearly a week ago on May 30.

This new addition to the family signifies a significant milestone as it makes their first child, August, aged 2, an older sibling and the first great-grandchild born since the passing of the queen.

Ernest marks the thirteenth direct and legitimate grandchild of II, with five of them bearing the late monarch's iconic name or a variation of it, making them the youngest descendants of the queen.

The eldest son of the queen and Prince of Wales, Prince George, aged 9, holds the second position in line to the throne.

His birth took place at St. Mary's Hospital in London on July 22, 2013, with the bells of Westminster Abbey ringing out in celebration.

Following Prince George, his sister Princess Charlotte, third in line to the throne, was born on May 2, 2015, also at the same hospital as her brother.

The arrival of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was met with gun salutes at Hyde Park and the Tower of London.
