Harry and Meghan’s Netflix Series Filmed at Lavish Mansion, Not Their Home

New revelations have surfaced about the filming location of Harry and Meghan's Netflix series, and it's not what many fans expected.

Contrary to popular belief, the couple's documentary wasn't shot at their Montecito estate, but rather at a stunning $49 million mansion just a short drive away.

This luxurious property, known as 888 Lilac Lane, spans an impressive 13,500 square feet and features six bedrooms, making it even more extravagant than the Sussexes' own residence.

Located merely nine minutes from Harry and Meghan's actual home, this iconic estate is currently on the market.

The real estate agent's enthusiastic description highlights the property's Wimbledon-quality lawn, a lavish pool, a spa, and a private gym, all surrounded by picturesque pebbled walkways.

This opulent setting belongs to Mark Shuloff, a well-known businessman and eco-activist, adding another layer of intrigue to the location choice for the series.

However, not everyone is impressed with the decision to film in such a grand environment.

Royal watchers have criticized the couple for appearing tone-deaf during a time when many are grappling with a global cost-of-living crisis.

A Hollywood producer weighed in, noting how disconnected it seems to showcase such wealth amidst widespread suffering and poverty.

Interestingly, while both homes feature chicken coops, there's a notable difference in the number of bathrooms.

The mansion used for filming has six, whereas Harry and Meghan's abode boasts a staggering 16.

This detail has sparked further discussions among fans about the Sussexes' living situation and their choices.

Recently, rumors have circulated suggesting that Harry and Meghan may have sold their Montecito home.

Reports of moving trucks spotted at their residence have fueled speculation.

A Quora user named Crystal Martin claimed to have seen these trucks and mentioned hearing that the couple had indeed sold their house, adding that they've been living apart for some time.

There are also whispers that the Sussexes weren't the real buyers of the Montecito Olive Garden property.

Some sources suggest that they might be renting it instead.

According to records from Santa Barbara County, the sale of this property took place on June 9, 2020, with the seller being Rockbridge LLC, linked to Sergei Grishin, a Russian billionaire embroiled in a tumultuous divorce.

Conflicting information regarding the property's ownership has emerged, creating confusion among fans.

While some reports indicate the house is pending sale, others claim it's available or unavailable altogether.

The last recorded sale of the property was back in 2009, which raises questions about whether the Sussexes ever truly owned it or were simply renting.

Additional articles have suggested that Harry and Meghan actually lived elsewhere, including at Soho House and various hotels, and even at 's second property before it was sold.

This could explain why only one room in the Montecito home was featured in photos and why no one was present when passed away, despite attempts by the royals to inform Harry.

Meghan herself has shared insights into their home-buying journey, revealing that initially, they hesitated to visit the property due to financial constraints.

She noted that they didn't want to “window shop” but eventually fell in love with the house after touring its exterior, which includes a beautiful pool and pool house.

Reflecting on their experience, Meghan expressed the emotional connection they felt upon entering the home.

“We did everything we could to get this house,” she said, describing the overwhelming sense of calm and freedom it provided.
