Halloween Preparations: Duchess Kate Spotted Shopping for Costumes

With Halloween just around the corner, parents everywhere are gearing up to ensure their kids have the perfect costumes.

Among them is none other than the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

In a charming display of normalcy, Kate was recently seen shopping for Halloween outfits at her local Sainsbury's in Norfolk, proving that even royals enjoy a bit of festive fun.

Back in 2019, the Duchess made a surprise appearance at the supermarket located in Hardwick Industrial Estate.

Accompanied by her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, she was spotted browsing through Halloween costumes.

Eyewitnesses noted that she engaged with other children in the store, asking them about their costume choices, showcasing her approachable and friendly demeanor.

A fellow shopper, Kathy Whitaker, recounted her surprise at seeing Kate in such a casual setting.

She recalled how another customer pointed out the Duchess's presence, and Kathy couldn't believe her eyes.

There was Kate, casually shopping for Halloween attire while a tall bodyguard kept a watchful eye on the scene.

Kathy managed to snap a photo of Kate at the self-service checkout, reflecting on how unexpected it was to see the royal in a supermarket rather than a high-end store like Waitrose or Harrods.

Interestingly, this wasn't Kate's first trip to Sainsbury's.

Just a year later, she was also spotted at the King's Lynn branch, which is conveniently located near the family's countryside residence, Anmer Hall.

Her down-to-earth shopping habits seem to be a recurring theme, much to the delight of royal watchers.

In 2018, Kate was seen exploring the aisles of The Range, a discount store in King's Lynn.

On that occasion, she was accompanied by George and Charlotte as they browsed through arts and crafts supplies.

Witness Sarah Daniels shared her experience of spotting the royal trio in the store, noting that George showed interest in some dinosaur-themed slime in the toy section.

Sarah described a heartwarming moment when Charlotte sat down on the floor, prompting Kate to gently tell her daughter to stand up.

Dressed in a casual outfit of jeans, low-heeled boots, and a jacket, Kate appeared relaxed and approachable as she navigated the store with her children.

Despite the presence of security, the Duchess's interactions were warm and engaging.
