The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, provided royal enthusiasts with a rare peek inside her handbag as she and the Duke of Cambridge arrived in Glasgow for the COP26 climate change summit.

The couple was captured commuting at Glasgow Central Station as they made their way to the conference.

A photo posted on the Network Rail Twitter page showcased a casually attired Kate carrying a chic black handbag, with glimpses of its contents visible.

Within her Smithson tote bag, valued at £650, were books, folders, and even a small laptop.

As per the biography book on Kate, it is revealed that the Duchess consistently carries four essential items in her handbag: a compact mirror, lip balm, blotting paper, and a handkerchief.

Additionally, if the bag permits, she also includes her renowned camera.

During their visit to Glasgow, the royal pair engaged with scouts, participating in activities such as preparing vegetarian burgers, fixing bicycles, and contributing to the restoration of a grassy bank in a park.

Eddie O’Rourke, a District Commissioner supporting scout groups in Glasgow and Lanarkshire, lauded the royal couple as a genuine source of inspiration.
