According to royal etiquette expert Micah Meyer, who spoke with Insider, Catherine relies on a couple of clever tricks to ensure she remains both comfortable and impeccably dressed throughout her public appearances.

One of her go-to strategies involves wearing tights with non-slip cushions, a simple yet effective solution to prevent her feet from sliding out of her heels during long hours on her feet.

The non-slip tights that Catherine favors are from John Lewis, a renowned UK department store, and retail for around £6 or approximately US$8.40.

These sheer stockings feature gel strips on the bottom, providing added grip to help secure her feet firmly onto the soles of her shoes.

In fact, eagle-eyed royal fans previously spotted Catherine sporting these innovative tights during a royal tour of Canada back in July 2011, where she effortlessly paired them with stylish Tabitha Simmonds heels.

In addition to her trusty non-slip tights, Catherine also turns to leather insoles for extra comfort and support while wearing high heels.

The Duchess has been known to favor Alice Bow insoles, created by British designer Rachel Bowditch, which are specifically designed to cushion the feet and allow for extended wear of any type of shoe, including high heels, without discomfort.

An unnamed source revealed to Vanity Fair's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl in 2015 that Catherine had ordered a couple of packets of the Alice Bow insoles and found them to be excellent.

The spokesperson for Alice Bow, however, refrained from commenting on the Duchess using their insoles, despite acknowledging a significant increase in site visits following the news.
