In a bold move, activists advocating for and the royal family are urging a shift away from monarchy.

Graham Smith, the chief executive of the anti-monarchy group Republic, recently shared his views on GB News with host Cameron Walker.

His message is clear: it's time for a democratic overhaul in the UK, one that would replace the constitutional monarchy with an elected head of state.

Kensington Palace has already announced a substitute who will step into her role as inspecting officer during the Colour Colonel Review of Troops scheduled for June 8.

Lieutenant-General James Bucknell will take on the responsibilities typically held by the future Queen.

This unexpected change raises questions about Kate's health and her current treatment for cancer, as she remains largely out of the public eye.
