A grand occasion is on the horizon as preparations for 's coronation are in full swing.

Among the attendees will be , who will be flying solo without his wife by his side.

Following their eviction from Frogmore Cottage, the 38-year-old Prince is in need of accommodation during this significant event.

In a surprising turn of events, Home Exchange, a prominent home-swapping platform, has extended an invitation to the Duke of Sussex to stay in one of their charming cottages in Windsor.

The company announced that is welcome to choose from two delightful cottages, both conveniently located near Windsor Castle and offering easy access to Westminster Abbey for the coronation ceremony.

The first option is the Thatched Cottage in Windsor, described as a picturesque retreat with beautifully landscaped gardens, including two summer houses, hidden walkways, and a variety of blooming flowers and shrubs.

This idyllic setting provides a peaceful sanctuary away from prying eyes, offering Prince Harry a sense of home away from home.

Prior to their nuptials, Prince Harry and had leased a £2.5 million Grade II-listed farmhouse in the Cotswolds, situated on a vast estate shared with notable neighbors such as the Beckhams and the Soho Farmhouse frequented by Meghan.

However, the decision of whether Prince Harry can return to the Cotswolds rests in the hands of another royal figure.

Kensington Palace, a historic residence in London's Hyde Park, has been a royal abode since the 17th century.

Currently housing the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, alongside other royal family members, the palace is also under the governance of the Duke of Kent, a significant figure with close ties to the Queen.

Despite the Duke of Kent's authority over the Cotswolds estate, there seems to be tension between him and Prince Harry, as revealed in a book published by the Duke last year.

This strained relationship may impact Prince Harry's chances of residing in the Cotswolds during the coronation festivities.

Since the retirement of the Duke of Edinburgh in 2017, the Duke of Kent has stood by the Queen's side at numerous state events, including scaled-down celebrations during the pandemic.

Renowned for his unwavering dedication and steadfast commitment to royal duties, the 87-year-old Duke continues to fulfill his responsibilities with grace and humility.

While the spotlight often shines on younger royals like William, Meghan, and Harry, the Duke of Kent quietly carries out his duties with a sense of contentment and dignity.

Despite the challenges and complexities within the royal circle, the Duke remains a steadfast presence, embodying a sense of tradition and loyalty to the monarchy.
